Our company is looking for a confident Insurance Agent to help customers find the perfect insurance policy. You will work with individuals and businesses to determine their needs and create appropriate plans. You should have excellent writing and communication skills, along with a high degree of technology skills (such as creating policies using word processing or spreadsheet software). Proficiency in Mandarin is a requirement as our client base is mostly Chinese. Prior sales experience is preferred. We are looking for ambitious new hires who are ready to learn and succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insurance plans and services to clients (e.g. routine health checkups).
- Explain the concepts of insurance and the details of the policy to clients.
- Conduct a risk assessment to determine if customers are eligible for coverage.
- Prevent insurance fraud by educating customers on terms and conditions.
- Inform customers of any changes to their plan, like when premiums are due, or in case there is a lapse in coverage.
- Answer questions about coverage and benefits.
- Process payments for insurance premiums.
- Resolve disputes with customers and make amends where possible .
- Keep records, update customer information and monitor the health of existing policies.
- Organize conferences and other events for educational purposes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: There is a base salary along with commission bonus. Average estimated pay is about 60k but top performers can earned upwards of 100k

RECEPTIONIST/OFFICE CLERK
We are looking for a Receptionist/clerk to handle our customer relations and administrative tasks. Receptionist/clerk must be fluent in Chinese and English. As a receptionist/clerk, we expect you to be a friendly and patient contact point for our many clients. You will be the first person that clients come into contact with when they contact our company, so you should be able to offer them guidance and respond quickly to requests. Additionally, you should be proficient in basic office equipment, such as phones and computers. Ultimately, the Receptionist/clerk’s duties are to provide excellent customer service and handle basic office duties, like bookkeeping and record management.

Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
